I’m constantly in need of more driver bits, either from them breaking or more often, getting lost. It’s therefore always great when a nice set comes along for dirt cheap. Sears is selling this Hitachi 35 piece set for just $7.50. Its a nice little set with a few less common bits like square drive and torx in addition to a bunch of Phillips bits. Best part is they are all impact rated so they’re good to go in all applications.

Amazon has a bunch of Factory reconditioned tools on sale now for generally more than 50% off. Well they claim to be more than 50% off, but that’s off of whatever imaginary list price they use. Still they’re generally a very good deal. This 3-1/4″ Clipped Head Framing Nailer is only $197. A gas powered concrete nailer is only $195. They’ve also got a good array of smaller impact drivers, and miter saws in addition to the plethora of nailers.

Just in time for father’s day, Lowe’s has a great deal on a 174 piece drill and drive set. It has a plethora of different screw-driving bits, as well as nut drivers, a couple of spade bits, a handful of masonry bits, and even a countersinking bit. Black and Decker bits won’t hold up as well as something from Bosch or Dewalt, but this set is so cheap that won’t really matter. It also comes in a nice case to keep everything neat and organized. Pick one up from Lowe’s for just $16.97.
