Around the Web: Stanley 4-in-1 Mobile Work Station Review

June 23rd, 2010

Old House Web (not to be confused with This Old House) has posted a short review of the Stanley 4-in-1 Mobile Work Station. They quite liked it, saying it is a great size, and easy to use.  It’s not to big that it becomes unwieldy, and not to small that it doesn’t hold much.  Organizational tools are generally overlooked, but if you think about how much time you spend looking for the right tool or materials, they can be far more valuable than any power tool.

Stanley FuBar

June 22nd, 2010

Stanley’s got a new demolition tool, the 30″ FatMax Xtreme FuBar Utility Bar.  Its name is sure a mouthful as Stanley tries to get all of their trademarks onto one product.  This new FuBar will be a real boon to anyone who enjoys a good demolition.  It’s 30″ long, and weighs a solid 8.5lbs.  Not to heavy so as to be unmanageable, but heavy enough to work well as a sledgehammer.  It’s also got a nail puller, a pry bar, and a textured grip.  The main feature though is the toothed jaw that is great for ripping, bending or twisting 2×4’s right out of the nails.  It’s available now for $99 at your favorite tool store.
